We have a new affiliate, CTU Italia, the best site about 24 in the Italian language.
A couple of new cast sightings have been added. As a humble request to readers, if you have suggestions for the cast spotted log or for any other specific content on this site, please send your suggestions to admin[at]almeidaisgod.com or use the feedback form on our contact AIG page. Please do not put them in the CTU logsheet. The CTU logsheet is intended as a place for people to let us know what they think of the site in general, to express love for Tony and to let us know who is visiting. Thank you kindly.
Also, we have done away with "the open channel", our message board. Absolutely NO ONE was using it, and frankly speaking, there are so many other great 24 message boards on the web, we'll just leave it up to them.

The Calgary Herald (incidentally, the major paper in Elisha Cuthbert's hometown) has ranked 24 as the 12th best television series of all time. We here at AIG would obviously have ranked it as #1, but hey, any positive press for 24 is good. To read the full list, click here.
The Cast Spotted Log has been updated with a couple of new sightings.
Also, work on season 2 Tony screencaps is underway. The complete library of s2 screencaps should be posted at some point in the next couple of weeks.

Due to the sheer enormity of this weeks' episode, it has taken us a couple of days to get over the loss and to get caught up. The hugely massive nature of this episode resulted not only in the official AIG debrief, but also in 3 separate further discussion logs. As we have noted, the death of Nina Myers is absolutely THE biggest event since she herself killed Teri Bauer back in s1. It is truly the end of an era. As such, it has warranted a great deal of discussion and analysis, all posted here on AIG for the enjoyment of all. Transcripts of the official debrief and the further discussions can be found on the Fandom page.
Additionally, Godlike Moments, Almeida Verbatim and Famous Last Words have all been brought up to date now that I have begun the long road to recovery from the depression Nina's death has induced. The greatest female television character ever to exist is no more. Let us all take a moment of silence to remember her.
On a more positive note, we could not have asked for more concerning the Tony/Nina reunion. It was everything we hoped for and more. One of our requirements for the perfect season 3 was a face-to-face Tony/Nina reunion. Thus far, the writers have not disappointed.

The Cast Spotted Log has been updated to include the many sightings that occured last night during my end of long-weekend TV binge. Happy Holy Day to all! I echo Matt's earlier sentiments when I say that tonight will be HUGE for Tony and all of us Almeidaists. THE HOLY TRINITY RE-UNITED!
As a side note, over the weekend, I finally saw "Phone Booth" with Colin Farrell and, of course, Kiefer. It was excellent, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Kiefer Sutherland and 24 (which of course we all are, or why would we be here, right?) That movie is so reminiscient of 24 to me, not only because it takes place in real-time and makes artful use of the split-screen and inlay-screen techniques popularized by our beloved show. But the biggest thing about "Phone Booth" that reminds me of 24 is how Kiefer says "if you hang up the phone, I will kill you." The way Kiefer says that is totally unmistakeable. When "Phone Booth" first came out and I first saw a trailer for it, I didn't actually know that Kiefer was in it, but something about that "I will kill you" was soooo familiar. Then Matt told me it was Kiefer and it all made sense. "If you hurt my daughter or my wife, I will kill you." Yes. Anyway, if you haven't seen Phone Booth, it is a great flick, a little short, but totally worth renting.
OK, I have to be a good girl and do some work now.

Almeida Verbatim is updated as well as the much-adored Famous Last Words, up to and including the recently deceased Alan Milliken, who died a prompt and Cofell-esque death, pills scattered all around.
HUGE MASSIVE night for Tony and all of his followers tomorrow as he faces Nina for the first time since season 1. I don't know about you but I'm fucking excited as all hell. Here's hoping he plays it slick.

Godlike Moments have been updated to include the latest episode. The most recent debrief has been added, as have a couple of e-mails, all available on the Fandom page. Quotes are forthcoming.
Just wanted to let you all know that we are loving all the positive feedback we've been getting from our visitors. Thank you so much to everyone who has signed the CTU logsheet and e-mailed us with their comments.

OMA, it's Michael Bolton!
After hearing hints about a "cocky analyst" arriving at CTU, I was so pumped for Milo action, only to be gravely disappointed when he failed to appear. However, Michael Bolton almost made up for it. In yet another superb casting decision, the production team has cast David Herman, best known for his role as the screwed over programmer with the unfortunate name in Mike Judge's brilliant satire "Office Space", as Dalton Furelle, the new CTU geekboy. While he will never be Milo, he will do.
This week's episode also marked the return of Bryan Spicer behind the camera, who hasn't been seen since s1 6-7 am (aka Jack shoots Nina). His tribute to the s1 flavour was greatly appreciated, both in terms of post-production aesthetic as well as Jack/Nina action. The tight attention to detail in post production has been somewhat lacking this season compared to s1 and s2, but this excellent episode directed by Spicer has given us the episode of the third season that is most true to the original directorial vision of the show established by Stephen Hopkins. Thank you Bryan Spicer! Even the great Jon Cassar could learn a few things from Spicer's effort here.
Godlike moments, quotes, debriefs and e-mails and famous last words will all be updated this weekend.
All the buttons on the buttons + codes page have been revamped and some new ones have been added. We encourage anyone currently displaying an AIG button on their site to replace it with one of the new set of buttons.

The second installment of the 24 Season One Ultimate Fan Commentary has been posted and is available for download now on the Mega-Fandom page.
I was traumatized by the sheer amount of blind willpower it required to get the season 1 screencaps posted, and the thought of tackling season 2 screencaps at this point in time just scares me, so those probably won't happen for awhile.
Cast spotted log has been updated. There have been a lot of sightings over the last week, mostly due to the fact that Six Feet Under and 24 seem to share actors a lot. I've seen a lot of 24 cast pop up in SFU, and I've been downloading a bunch of SFU episodes from Kazaa, so I've had the pleasure of multiple cast sightings.
Another fan of FHTMA has exposed themselves. Thanks to Natalie over at twentyfouronline, our excellent affiliate, for keeping us up to date with all the new sites. If you don't know what FHTMA means, check out the AIG glossary of terms.
Happy Holy Day to all! ABWY!!!

Apologies for the lack of updates this week. If there is actually anyone out there waiting for the second installment of The 24 Season One Ultimate Fan Commentary to be posted, I've had some delays. It will be posted this weekend for sure.
Added a slew of links to various Carlos Bernard video and audio clips archived on 4924CTU. These can be found in The Man Behind Almeida. It is always great to watch/listen to Carlos discuss 24, even if he does recycle his jokes about being named one of People Magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People. However, it seems that Carlos doesn't really find this whole People Magazine thing too impressive, so he came up with one silly joke to use on every inane entertainment reporter/talk show host who brings it up (the joke about facials). We can support that, because it's evident from every interview he gives and the DVD commentary that he has the greatest sense of humour.
Our new sister site, Brothers In Arms : The Official Jack Bauer/Tony Almeida Fanlisting has been launched!
Debrief transcripts for episodes 11 and 12 of season 3 have been posted in mega-fandom.
In other news, someone reached our site this week by literally searching for the phrase "tony almeida is god" on google. Classic!
